1.What information does ARMSTRONG & OXFORD collect and how is it used?
- When you order we need to know your name, e-mail address, delivery address, debit/credit card number and expiry date. This allows us to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of your order status.
- We ask for your telephone number to enable us to contact you if there is a problem with your order. In the case of international orders this number may be passed on to our couriers.
- Also, if you indicate on the Web Site that you would like us to, we may also use this information to notify you (by email or post) about important functionality changes to the web site, about new Armstrong & Oxford products, services and special offers we think you would appreciate. - Anyone taking part in a group photograph at a ceremony does so voluntarily and on the basis that they consent to the fact that the photograph:
- (a) may be displayed and made generally available for sale on the Armstrong & Oxford web site (and any successor to that web site);
- (b) may be displayed and made generally available for sale in other Armstrong & Oxford publications; and
- (c) may be used for promotional purposes.
Due to the number of people involved in the photograph participants will appreciate this consent cannot be withdrawn after the photograph has been taken.
2. How does Armstrong & Oxford protect customer information?
To prevent unauthorised access as required by the Irish Data Protection Act 1988, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us. Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we are able to disclose personal data to you following a request from you to do so. All personal data is stored on a secure server and we do not store credit /debit card information.
3. What is the policy of Armstrong & Oxford in relation to disclosing information to outside parties?
To the extent you have indicated on the Web Site that you would like us to notify you (by email or post) about important functionality changes to the web site, about new Armstrong & Oxford products, services and special offers we think you would appreciate, we may decide to pass your personal information to carefully selected and trustworthy third parties so that they can do the same.
