Booking

We advise to book early. Booking typically closes 4 days before your ceremony.

If your ceremony date is not listed on our website it means that the online bookings have not opened yet. We are waiting for your institution to officially confirm the details of the ceremonies. You will receive information from the college once this has been announced and the online bookings will be live then. Rest assured you will find out in plenty of time for your graduation date.

If you are unsure of what to choose please ask your course tutor or the university or college registry what award you are to receive.

If the date or time of your graduation should change after you have booked your hire outfit, don’t worry. Simply email info@armstrongandoxford.com and advise us of the new date so we can update your booking

Your height means the measurement from the top of your head to the ground, without shoes. This can be in metres or feet and inches

Your gown will be fitted on the day by one of our fully trained staff members. Sizing is always calculated according to height.

About Our Certificate & Diploma Frames

The best frame size will depend on the exact dimensions of your certificate. We offer a variety of frame sizes to accommodate almost all of these.  Simply measure the length and width of your certificate, or enter the name of the institution on the filters to sort by the appropriate sizes.

Yes! Our selection of frames is suitable for diplomas, awards, photographs, and other cherished documents.

While we don't currently offer a bespoke framing service, our extensive selection of frames have been made to order to fit the certificate sizes from irish universities and colleges, and most standard sizes.  If you have a unique framing request, please feel free to contact us with the specific size, and we'll be happy to cross reference against the sizes we carry.

We also provide graduation gown hire, which is one of our most popular services. Not only that, but we also provide gown hire for staff and online registration of attendance, and guest ticketing for graduation events.

Gown Hire For Faculty & Staff

When you place your order, simply let us know the establishment where you received your highest qualification, and the year you received it, and we will ensure you receive the appropriate set of academic dress that adheres to their exact specifications.

While we will always try to accommodate last-minute orders as best we can, it's always best to place your order well in advance of the graduation ceremony. The official cut-off date is three weeks prior to the ceremonies you will be attending as a platform party member. This ensures we have ample time to prepare or order in your attire.  However we will always bring spare academic robes with us to ensure everyone is provided with appropriate academic dress, while it may not be your specific institution particulalry for less common awards.  If you would like to ensure you always have the correct acadmic dress, particulaly if you have graduated from a university outside of Ireland, why not ask us about having you academic dress made for you to purchase?
